Maersk increases PSS from Far East Asia to Sri Lanka and Maldives

Maersk is revising its Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for shipments from Far East Asia to Sri Lanka and the Maldives. The revised surcharge will be US$400 per container across the covered equipment sizes. US$400 PSS across container sizes The surcharge applies to shipments from China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, the Philippines, Brunei, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Timor-Leste and South Korea. The destinations covered are Sri Lanka and the Maldives . Container size PSS All 20-foot containers US$400 All 40-foot containers US$400 45-foot high-cube dry US$400 For most origins, the revised PSS takes effect on 31 August 2026 .
