Auckland children’s dental surgery waitlist falls by two-thirds

The number of children waiting for dental surgery in Auckland has fallen by more than 1,400, speeding access to treatment. The reduction means more children are getting faster access to dental care in the city. The Beehive Government Releases reported the drop in the waitlist figure. Health services in the region will now be able to progress previously delayed procedures for a substantial cohort of child patients, improving the pace at which dental operations can be scheduled and carried out.
