Port of Savannah container volumes rise 5.7% in July

The Port of Savannah handled 503,739 TEUs in July 2026, an increase of 5. 7% compared with the same month last year. The Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) reported a year-on-year gain of 27,051 TEUs as the port began its 2027 fiscal year with growth in both imports and exports. Exports reached nearly 115,000 TEUs, up 7. 7% or more than 8,200 TEUs from July 2025.
