CMA CGM introduces low water surcharge for Manaus

CMA CGM will introduce a Low Water Surcharge (LWS) for shipments to and from Manaus, Brazil. The carrier continues to monitor falling water levels across the Amazon River system. According to the latest forecast from the Manaus Port Captaincy, navigation restrictions will begin during week 40. CMA CGM expects the restrictions to remain in place until at least week 52.
