Hapag-Lloyd adjusts inland fuel surcharges in Italy

Hapag-Lloyd has announced new inland fuel surcharges for services in Italy. The new rates will take effect on 24 August 2026. However, shipments subject to US Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) rules will follow the new rates from 12 September 2026. The changes apply to both import and export inland haulage. Hapag-Lloyd said the update follows continued volatility in global energy markets.
