ANL and CMA CGM introduce new Peak Season Surcharges on Asia-Pacific trades

ANL and CMA CGM Group will introduce new Peak Season Surcharges (PSS) on several Asia-Pacific trades from 28 August 2026. The measures cover shipments to Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, French Polynesia, Fiji, Timor-Leste and selected Australian ports. The surcharges will apply until further notice. Asia to PNG, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and Australia For shipments from Northeast Asia to Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Townsville and Gladstone, the PSS will be US$300 per 20-foot container and US$600 per 40-foot container. The same levels apply to both standard and reefer equipment.
